Baby Jaida's Album

I have been a bad blogger lately...but I have a very good excuse. I have been working on a custom baby album for a good friend of mine whose daughter is having her first baby in a few months. Here's your shout out Mindy : )

The baby shower was yesterday so I can finally post some pics of the album that has kept me busy for the past few days. This was a 20 page album and I'll be  posting pics of each page and a pic of them together since I made two layouts that coordinate with each other.

This first page is probably my favorite out of all the ones I designed. I first came up with this design when I was working on my wedding album. I used this same look for a picture of my daughter and I which I will post about later.

I just love how this page turned out : )

This is Kreisha...the beautiful momma-to-be getting her first glimpse at baby Jaida's album.

Kriesha & I and you can see little baby Jaida under the album ; )

I have to tell you that I just LOVED making this album for Kreisha and I just know she will have a lot of fun putting all the pictures of her baby girl in this album once she makes her debut.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today...it is another beautiful sunny day here in Oregon and we are heading to Costco soon (yay) so I will try to do another post this evening when we get back. I have some more amazing scrapbook deals to show you : )

Ciao for now!

Gotta Love Coupons & the Clearance Aisle : )

I am super excited to share some of the amazing deals I found yesterday at Michaels and Joannes Fabrics.

First up is my Michaels "Deal of the Day" I can't share them all as some of the items I snatched up are for a gift and I don't want to reveal the gift just yet : )

After I finished perusing the scrapbook section and picking up some items I needed...I went to the back of the store to pick up some candles and saw a display of these items. They were all in a clear package together and they had several different packs with all sorts of embelishments and themes.

Now you might be saying to yourself...how is $50 a deal...well take a look at this....

That's right...I only paid $9.99 for $50 worth of product. I actually went back through the scrapbook section and priced out the items that were included in this pack and it actually came to more than $50. I was super happy and had to refrain myself from grabbing one of each pack~luckily Kaley was there to keep me level headed lol.

Love the keys & metal flowers

The next set of photos are from the clearance section next to where I found the above package.

I love using these on my scrappy projects. You can use them on cards, board books, page layouts, the possibilities are endless. You don't even have to use the numbers together...they aren't attached to each other which is really cool I think since you can use them on more than one project.
These were only .49 each...I grabbed one of each design they had left.

Next up are the three items I found at Joannes Fabrics.....

I had a 50% off coupon and this is what I used it on. There were tons of other items I would have loved to use with the coupon but you could only use it on something that was NOT on sale & since Joannes had mucho items on sale...this is what I chose. Now don't get me wrong...I love this die...I just wanted some of the Tim Holtz stuff more : ) Sorry for the glare by the way.

These Martha Stewart jewelled stickers were on the clearance aisle for less than a $1 each. You can never have enough of blingy embelishments right??

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post...I picked up some more amazing deals but will share those after I complete the project & after I have given the gift...don't want to spoil the surprise : )

I will be doing another Midweek Random post tomorrow..be sure to come back for more scrappy posts.

Have a great evening : )
